Some of your sales never reach your ad platforms.

The Meta Pixel runs in your shopper's browser. Ad blockers and browser privacy settings stop it for part of your shoppers, so Meta learns from fewer sales than you made.

Then it spends your budget on that smaller picture.

Each line is a sale on its way to Meta. Some stop before they get there.

Every sale goes two ways. Meta counts it once.

Route oneThe Meta Pixel, in your shopper's browser. Part of it gets blocked.

Route twoThe Conversions API, sent straight from your store's server. It does not depend on the browser.

MatchedBoth carry the same event ID, so Meta joins them and counts each sale once. Only what your shopper agreed to is sent.
